Meet Carl and the AI Parrotbots

At Ruffled Feathers Parrot Sanctuary, we believe that help with wildlife emergencies and parrot care questions should never have to wait for business hours. That is why we built an entire team of AI parrotbots, intelligent AI-powered assistants designed to support wildlife rescue, parrot care education, and sanctuary operations around the clock. Every parrotbot is named after a real bird in our care, combining technology with the heart of rescue.
Led by Carl, our voice-activated AI who is available on every page of the site around the clock, our parrotbot team can answer your questions about parrot care, wildlife rescue, adoptions, donations, sanctuary tours, and just about anything else you can think of. You can talk to Carl using your voice, just like he is standing right there in the room with you. Several of our parrotbots are powered by advanced AI models similar to those developed by OpenAI.
Each parrotbot is a specialist. Some are artists. Some are researchers. Some know more about parrot nutrition than most veterinarians. And a few of them work quietly behind the scenes keeping the sanctuary running smoothly. Together, they help us serve the 3,000 to 5,000 animals we rescue every year across Kentucky and beyond.

Carl, Head of AI Operations
Carl is the face of our AI team and the first voice you will hear when you visit RFPSInc.com. He is our site-wide assistant, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to answer your questions in real time. Whether you need help with a wildlife emergency at 2 a.m. or just want to learn about the birds in our care, Carl is always on duty.
Carl also handles incoming phone calls for the sanctuary, so even if no human is available, someone is always there to help. He knows the sanctuary inside and out, and if your question falls outside his expertise, he will connect you with the right specialist on the team.

Why AI at a Parrot Sanctuary?
We are a small team doing big work. Brad and Tara Harmon founded Ruffled Feathers Parrot Sanctuary in 2015, and since then, we have helped over 20,000 animals. With 3,000 to 5,000 rescues coming through our doors every year, we needed a way to make sure no call goes unanswered and no question gets lost.
Our AI parrotbots are not replacing human care. They are extending it. They let us be available around the clock, in multiple languages, across every platform. And because each one is named after a real bird we have rescued and loved, they carry a little piece of the sanctuary with them in every conversation.
Have a question? Pick a parrotbot and say hello. They are waiting for you.
