Injured raccoon call while out on a duck chase nearby. Not moving but ? alive. This baby unfortunatly had a broken back and did not make it until morning., It died fed and comfortable though I did make sure of that. Even held it upright so it could eat it wanted too so bad but nothing worked. It’s hard but that’s why we do it even if we cant save them all we can help them to not die on the cold ground or in the bitter heat. It doesn’t cost a lot to show a little compassion every now and again. RIP cute raccoon you mattered to some.
